French American tenor Timothy (Tim) Anderson graduated from the University of North Texas (UNT) Honors College and College of Music. He had the privilege to study voice under Dr. Stephen Austin and Dr. Stephen Morscheck. Mr. Anderson’s notable roles include The Ringmaster (The Bartered Bride), The Young Collector (A Streetcar Named Desire), and Pa (That Hell-Bound Train) with UNT opera. Elsewhere, he has sung Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) with Luke Housner’s LAHSOW program and King Kaspar (Amahl and the Night Visitors) at Music on Site, Inc. Mr. Anderson is also a professional choral singer, having sung in many of the professional ensembles across Dallas.

Ms. de Cola’s operatic engagements have included a concert version of Lo Schiavo as Contessa by Gomez at Italy’s prestigious Ravello Festival; Zerlina in Don Giovanni in Rome; Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia on the Amalfi Coast and in the Berkshires in New York and Union Park in New York City. Miss de Cola sang Cosi fan tutte (Fiordiligi) and Carmen (Frasquita),( understudying Micaëla) in Sacramento, CA. Ms. de Cola has sung with the Albany Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Texas Symphony Orchestra, Richardson Symphony, Mesquite Symphony and the St. Cecilia Choral Society Symphony in MD.
From the time that Ms. de Cola completed her Master’s Degree in Voice (she was the recipient of the William Winspear Foundation Fellowship at UNT), she has sung with the Fort Worth Opera, Tulsa Opera, Opera Iowa and Des Moines Metro Opera. While touring with the National Opera Company, she performed the role of Norina in Don Pasquale and Clorinda in La Cenerentola over sixty seven times each. Other roles Ms. de Cola has sung are Susanna, Lucy, Gilda, Monica, Josephine, Elsie, Miss Wordsworth, Perichole, Nadina, Gretel, Sandman, Pauline, Adina, and Mabel. Musical Theatre roles include Lori, Marian, Sara, Luisa, Maria in West Side Story and Maria in the Sound of Music, Nimue, and a Twin at Jean Stapleton’s Totem Pole Playhouse in Gettysburg, PA.
Besides her performing career, Ms. de Cola teaches voice and plays for area singers and choirs. In 2014, she and her husband adopted three older children who are now young adults. She has taught at South Garland High School, Austin Academy of Excellence, Naaman Forest High School and Richland College where she played the piano for the Women’s and Gospel Choirs. In her private voice and piano studio as well as public schools and college, she has had NATS and Solo and Ensemble Winners in Texas.

Sabrina Martinez, Soprano, is a Spring 2024 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce. Throughout her time as an undergraduate student, Ms. Martinez was a member of the TAMUC Chorale, Chamber, and Opera Scenes Ensembles; Participating in the musical productions of A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim, The Bridges of Madison County by Jason Robert Brown, as well as the opera production of Le Nozze Di Figaro by W.A. Mozart. The Opera Scenes Ensemble provided an opportunity for her to perform and grow as a soloist, eventually performing as Cendrillon from Jules Massenet’s opera Cendrillon. While being a Chorale and Chamber Choir member, Ms. Martinez performed in multiple churches and schools across the DFW area. Through the Chamber Choir, she obtained the opportunity to perform in concerts at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, Cathedral de San Juan Bautista in Puerto Rico, and the Natural Bridge Caverns in New Braunfels, Tx.
Outside of these productions, Ms. Martinez performed as a soloist in two recitals featuring extremely challenging art songs, song cycles, Lied, and arias by W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, Hugo Wolf, Undine S. Moore, and many more. The repertoire featured in both recitals was composed for lyric, soubrette, and dramatic soprano, assisting Ms. Martinez in attaining a vast understanding of vocal literature, musical technique, and vocal pedagogy.
She also continuously competed as a soloist at the Texoma Region Voice Competition and DFW Region Voice Competition of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. In February 2024, she was the winner of the Collegiate Vocal Solo Competition hosted by the Plano Civic Chorus.
Ms. Martinez has been a member of the Texas Music Educators Association since 2019. Despite being an alternate for Pre-Area in 2018, she earned a place in the 2019 Large School All-State Mixed Choir, acquiring personal experience on how to be successful through the All-State and All-Region process. She is thrilled to share her understanding of the voice, and to assist students in creating music that they love!
